Jenny Berry is the current Career and Technical Education (CTE) Pathway Director for Indianapolis Public Schools. She has been an advocate for public education for the past 28 years, starting her career as a special education teacher at Fordson High School in Dearborn, Michigan.
Ms. Berry earned her B.S. in Special Education (1993) and M.A. in School Counseling (2000) from Western Michigan University and holds administrative licenses as a CTE Director (Ball State University, 2019) and Special Education Director (Indiana University, 2009).
Her professional interests include developing high-quality CTE programs of study, ensuring programs are equitable and accessible to all learners, and providing exposure, engagement, and immersive experiences to students across all programs through robust employer partnerships.
For fun, Ms. Berry loves to watch football (go Colts!) and movies of all genres, as well as visiting new places, especially if it involves a beach.
